I have a 1986-87 Marathon 2350. I think it is the Sunblazer. It has a omc-GM 5 liter with a Volvo Cobra outdrive.

I would like any printed info even ads or brochures.

It has been a great boat except for the neutral switch if tempermental. Any advice would be apprieciated.

 Go to the iboats.com website, look under boat manufacturers, where you will see Marathon , then under that you will see Marathon Cruisers, next to last you will see Marathon Cruisers Sunblazer, lastly you will see Marathon Cruisers 2350 Sunblazer Years!!  If you have trouble finding it, just type in the address bar: http://www.iboats.com/b/ then look for MARATHON CRUISERS.

northcoast, I'd like to invite you to join the discussion group on the forum that is exclusively Marathon owners. Most of use have the cuddy cabins as mine is a Marathon 2150 weekender. There are a couple of 2550's and I do believe that there may be one 2350 in the bunch. Great old boats.

As far as your gear problem, one other member had the same problem with a Penta drive. I helped research  the problem for him and found it to be with the Penta drive Itself moreso than the Mercruiser out drives. He had to rebuild his shifting mechanism. You may be able to get with him and find out what his answer may be.

Hello again,

I just came across a website that can give you a little more information about the stern drive on your Marathon Boat! The web address is http:marinemechanic.com. Once you are there, click on the home page that uses frames if that is your preference. Then click on home at the top of the very left hand column. This gets you into the actual website. Now look on the right hand side and scroll down till you see the engines section( it will be the third one down)click on it and you will be at the Propulsion Page. Now about one page down you will see OMC Reference Guide. Click on this and it will bring a diagram that explains the code on your engine. I hope this helps!!!
