I'm trying to find websites on Mariah Boat Owner Forums.  In fact I'm willing to start one if anyone is interested.  I purchased a 97 z272 last year and love it, but want to try and find various parts and information.  I am specifically looking for a camper canvas for a z272 or at least a white center canapy section.  When I purchased mine, it was missing the center section.

Please let me know if anyone has info on Mariah boats or wants to trade photos and stories.  Have fun, enjoy life, and never stop cruising!!!!!

I just purchased a 1995 Mariah Z272 also. I've only had it in the water twice for about an hour each time as I bought it late in the boating season. I can't wait to "play" with it again. I am having a few things checked out by the marina where I boat. (lights not working, tach needs fixed, etc) I have no idea how to remove the head though. Do you know how to do that?  I also am suprised at the lack of speed I am seeing. The bottom is painted but I am only getting about 42 mph out if a 454 engine. I will have to check on the prop and see if that may be part of the problem.  If you have any input, please post them. Thanks

The Mariah owner club is located at www.mariahownersclub.com.   I am a member and own a 99 z272.

Head removal - If you look at the bottom front you'll see a screw and that holds a white plastic latch.   Loosen the screw and slide the latch to remove the head.

Speed - Yeah 42 seems a little low so somethings up.   I just repowered but the old even with all it's trouble could do 58.   My boat is currently in storage but I believe my prop is a 26.    Are you getting 42 on the speedo or GPS?

Window Walkthrough - That's what I'm currently after.    The previous owner took it off and didn't but it with the boat on trade-in.    Taylor Made is the original supplier and they need the part number of the bottom of the walkthrough section.   It's a bit of catch 22 since I don't have the part need to get the number to buy the part.
