Does any one have any advice on where to find replacement canvas
snap-on covers? I have a 223 Sunesta (2003). The orginal
snap-on covers are getting worn and not sure how much longer they'll be
functional. I also saw on Chaparral's Website several optional
covers for their deckboats but no link to purchase or help in finding a
dealer that sales the covers. Am I out of luck or left to find a
custom manufacturer locally?

As I posted on the Sunesta deckboat thread,I had to get new covers for my 243 Sunesta deckboat. I ordered them from the dealer.Cost around $1200.00 for the front and back cockpit covers. I thought you would just snap the new ones in.Wrong!!! You have to put the snaps on the new covers and try to line them up with the old.The new cover does not fit as well as the old and some improvising had to be done. I got my boat mechanic to do it but it was such a pain he only managed to do the rear cover as the front was not torn yet.

Thanks MDDDSP, good info to know. Sounds like I'd be just as well
(maybe better off) to go to a local canvas shop and have them make one
since the dealer replacements don't just "snap" on. That way I
can take the boat over and have them do it all.
