I just purchased an 02 Bayliner 2452 with the 5.7 B2 engine which has
50 hours on it. I'm going to install the NeutraSalt System by Volvo as
it will be used in salt water here on the Gulf. Appreciate hearing from
anyone who has installed this system.
Thanks,
Paul

Paul,
Good luck on the Neutrasalt.... my 05 2465 Regal 5.0 OSI Volvo just had to have replacement manifolds and risers with 84 hours and less than two years on engine. Boat came with the system, I used the system after every time. The boat is kept on a trailer and out of Gulf waters. I had the freshwater flush extended to transom and will never use Neutrasalt again.

Wow. Not exactly a ringing endorsement Tom. Did you contact Volvo about your bad experience? If so, what did they say? Did you have the system installed ? Thanks for your reply
