The hatch doors for the battery compartment and the cooler compartment underneath the top side sink/wetbar are losing their powder coat. It is not actually the door itself as this is platic, but rather the the metal rimming of the door. I tried to take it out to replace but it won't budge.

Anyone else have similar issues? Any way to get these out and order a replacement part?

It looks terrible the way it is....

Cockpit door frames are extremely well caulked. You will need to insert a razor knife in the joint between the aluminum and fiberglass and cut the caulking.....probably on both sides, the nvery gently work the frame out.

They can be replaces, but it may be more cost effective to have them repainted by a shop than knows how to prepare, prime and paint aluminum. Or you can do it yourself.

Whether you repaint or replace, understand that the cause of the corrosion is stainless steel screws in an aluminum frame. When you reinstall the frame, be sure you fully caulk the screws as they are inserted.

I had the same problem on my 2001 310DA.  I purchased new in 2001 and the corrosion started in 2004.  I heard that there was a manufacturing issue with these moldings, so I contacted SeaRay.  They asked for a couple of pictures.  To make this short, they sent replacement moldings to my local MarineMax and they installed for FREE.  That's how I like it.

Yeah Usually if they know they have a problem like this that happened on alot of boats, they will usually replace the parts for free. I would contact Sea Ray or either your dealer and tell him to contact Sea Ray about replacing the parts. Tell them you have heard of other people who the same thing happened.
