Topic: Changing seal in dripless through hull

Author Message Prev Topic | Next Topic  djenkins "Seaman Recruit" Joined: September 18 2006 Posts: 12 Posted: January 04 2007 at 15:04 | IP Logged Hello, I'm being told that in order to change the seals on my shaft's dripless through hull on my '97 330 Sundancer that they must lift the engines out of the boat.  Is this true?  I know its a tight space, but is it possible for a mechanic to change the seals on the shaft's dripless without pulling out the engines????
