For most of us seasonal boaters...the upcoming Boat Shows will be a welcome break from lows of the off-season.  Have heard rumors that Formula will be launching a new killer financing package in time for the Boat Shows.  Have any of you heard anything about this?

I checked the Formula web site and it shows the current Escape plan to be 0% interest for 12 months, then 5.49% for the term of the loan.  There seem to be other plans being offered by various dealers around the country.  From my discussions with one dealer there appears to be a "no cost" to the purchaser or dealer rate, then there must be other deals that add something to the cost of the financing depending on what the rates are.  The last quote I got a few weeks ago was 0.99% for 18 months, then 5.15% for the balance.  That was supposed to be the "no cost" rate at that time.  Anytime you are discussing the rate with your dealer, be sure to specify that you want the rate that adds no cost to the deal.

Here is the latest I received from a Formula Dealer: 0% interest for 24 months, no payments for 6 months, and 2.9% for the remaining balance.

Thanks for the information & suggestions.  Formula makes it increasingly difficult to say no to.  At a recent boat show other guys were offering interest rates that ranged from 6.5% to 7.6% & none could match the warranty offered/included by Formula.
