Hello all -

I own a '99 250SE, the year with the standard swim deck depth.  I am interested in extending the deck.  Anyone aware of a good quality extension platform?  I found a company in AZ, Swimplatform.com which looks pretty good but I really like the integrated look of the factory.  Any suggestions short of grafting a section on or purchasing a new model?

    We have done a few 250's this way. We can actually use the standard factory E.S. platform and with a bit of fiberglass work, make it look factory. Short and sticky is that you can use the factory  Extended platform from Doral. It can be ordered by any dealer. Where are you located, I can let you know the closest dealer.

I am in New Jersey.  I know of a dealer i can contact. I thought that was all molded in.  Didnt know it was an add on part. Can you give me a flavor of the cost?

I am out of the office today unfortunately but your dealer should be able to quote you a price. You might think about talking to Green Cove down there in New Jersey. They actually post on here and may chime in.

Got the price.  Looks like $2650 plus fright, tax and install.  Not bad for a factory look.  I hear the teak is 2x that. I dont have any teak on the boat now so....  Not sure if this is a DIY job so next task is the install cost.  I think I'll probably go for it.  I think the benefit outweighs the cost.

Sounds reasonable. I don't think this is a DIY... at least not for me LOL.

If you can afford it, get the teak, the looks of that platform will make
the whole boat.

Hello all.  I had the extension installed this past season.  Money well spent and the fit is fine. Just over $3K installed.
