I have a 75 Catalina35 that currently is running twin Crusader Q 350s and I am planning on repowering with 97 454 Crusaders with EFI. Anybody have any experience or advice with/about this? Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Bill,

While I was looking for my current boat, I came across a Catalina 350 which had been repowered.  350 EFI Crusaders, I think.  Anyway, they didn't fit fully under the cabin sole, so they raised the sole, creating a slanted floor.  This caused them to make about 30%+ of the saloon floor unuseable, except for walking.  I thought long and hard about whether I could deal with the floor like that.  I chose not to.  Just be sure whoever does the work takes this into consideration.
