BVRP,
I had the same dilema after I bought a '97 CC Crowne. The local CC dealer was no help on desired replacement parts and manuals. His story was - the "manual" was only a collection of owner manuals of equipment installed on the specific boat.
I contacted the factory direct and ordered a wiring diagram for a similiar 2002 CC 328, then had the schematic sent thru the local CC dealer. Got it OK and it is "pretty much" the same as my '97 Crowne's wiring. It was very helpful in wiring the Windlass control switch.
A replacment stern ladder was ordered from the supplier (Sureline?? I think ) - and procured thru West Marine once the CC factory gave me the correct part number for the ladder.
The new CC folks provide assistance with issues with older CCs - but reluctantly.
