Hi, i am interested in buying a 2005, unused seafox-230 w/a with a 2007 suzuki 175 4 stroke motor.

Any thought on the seafox and reliability? All would be appreciated

Hi Jed,

You without a doubt will be confronted with that catch phrase "For the money". For the money, Seafox gives you a great value.  I have been to the West Coast of Fla many times, and they are all over the place.  I have owned my 21cc since 05(Left over new 04).  I have nothing but good things to say about it.  I fully expected some finish issues(like lots of caulk on the rub rails, screws not thru bolts etc..) I never say them.

I have always owned Whalers(one mako mixed in) so when my wife, 9 yr old son and I decided to get back into boating, we looked for over a year.  Bottom line, I wanted new but didn't want to eat the instant depreciation.  I didn't want a 50k price tag either.  So faw I have found the boat to be great.  A few issues here and there but like ALL boats, that IS the case.

I bought a 2007 23.6 wa in August and  I am very happy I did.

 I up graded the motor to a 225 Suzuki 4 stroke  just under 50 mph ( Glad I did Sweet and very quiet )
