I am looking to install an engine compartment heater in my Cobalt 292 (twin).  The shorepower 120AC outlet is located in the engine compartment.  Can I plug this heater into this outlet?  I am concerned that the outlet is located in the engine compartment.  Do I have to move it outside of the engine compartment before I can use it for the heater?

The heater install instructions say not to plug it into an outlet within the engine compartment but I am confused as to why they have an outlet in the engine compartment if it can't be used.

Any advise would be appreciated.

Thanks!
