I am the owner of a 1987 - 34' Silverton Convertible and seeking any information on the use of Ethanol with this vintage of engines and its components?  My crusing area is along the St. Lawrence River and available fuel is now mixed with Ethanol.

Mariner Four,

You may want to visit the Silverto Owners Club Website in regards to this issue. There have been many ethanol posts on that website.

I am one of the webmasters of the site, and can't tell by your name if you are already a member....however, after you check it out, you may want to join our club.
