Hello everyone,

I'm happy to see BoatUS was able to get this forum under way.  I'm hoping we'll all be able to benefit from the information that's posted.

I'm the proud owner of a 2002 Striper 2101 CC, witha 150 HP Yamaha OB.  I love the boat, but I have not been very satisfied with Seaswirls customer service.  I'll save that discussion for another day.

One quick question: Can anyone tell me how Seaswirl vents the fuel tank on the 2101 CC?  Do they have some special way of venting the fuel tank?

There is no obvious vent on the hull of my boat.  I've owned a few boats and there was always a fuel tank vent located somewhere on the hull.

BTW - I've already posted this question using Seaswirl's online customer support and they haven't replied.

Hi, I am having trouble with an air lock in my fuel tank, but to answer your question, If you lock at the filler cap you will might find the vents are on the rim of the cap.

Hope this helps, Paul
