I just came upon a boat that thus far I have determined is an 18" center consol crestliner. It has an Inboard engine which is a Ford six cylinder inline. The boat must be pre-1972 becasue it has no hull ID number on it.Any pointers on the best way to identify year and model.Going to need a complete restoration

Hi Preach - Check on the starboard stern, up towards the decking. There may be a number imprinted there, as my '78? cliner/amf crusader 770 has. 78 is in the number at the start and again after some letters.

Good luck!

My 75 Crestliner has the ID stamped into the starboard stern just below the rub rail. Should start with a CL. There has to be a # somewhere  to ID it.
