  Greetings,

I have a 1989 3486 Convertible purchased new, with 454's.  Have had no carb issues with 2500 hours on both engines. What are your problems, or questions.

Frank,

I twin quada jets.  I had them rebuilt and they were completely screwed up.  The fuel comsumption was unbelievable so I replaced them with Edelbrock and the boat doesn't run like it should and the fuel economy is terrible.  I sent the quadra jets to Evergreen carburetors in Everett, Washington.  I replaced the Edelbrocks with the rebuilt quadra jets and will see how they run, but the weather in Alaska hasn't been that great so I haven't really been able to see how they work.

Good Morning:

My 2001, Bayliner  2856 Command Bridge is a great fishing and cruising boat, I’ve got the Bravo III duel prop out-drive and the 310 hp fuel injected engine. (No problems with the fuel changes). It cruises for ever at 25 mph, top speed 38 mph. I’m amazed at the fuel economy. I customized radar arch and fly bridge, I also added a bow thruster. The boat loves the New England water; it’s high, dry, stable and fast plus very comfortable to cruise in because of the duel-control stations.

Good Morning

I have the same problem with my boat i have 454 in it but my problem is that she will get up to 4800 rpms and the she will drop down to 3000rpm and back and fourth i have changed the fuel filter cleaned the carb

it is like she wants to go and something is holding her back

does any one have any ideas
