Thanks for the reply. I think I found the main leak source. The SR runabout, at least mine, has a "water collector" just outside and under the center (opening) window. It's immediately aft of the cuddy hatchway and any rain falling on the bow near the windshield collects in this depression and then runs along the windscreen (inside) till it hits the side windows then it runs back along the sides, sometimes dripping in amidships, which causes no real harm except it gets things wet, but sometimes it will run over and down behind the gauge cluster and drip in around the wires and/or into the locker under the helm. Obviously, this latter can be a real problem.
I built a little "wall" of sealant on each side of the center window opening, which will hopefully keep the water from entering and running down the sides. This problem will manifest itself in every SR with a bow design similar to mine, and I'm surprised that it hasn't become more of an issue!
