I just bought a new Riviera 40 sportfish with cummins QSC 490 electronic diesels.  Any known issues that anyone would like to share?

The 40 is a great boat but at about 200 hours I had to replace both cutlass bearings on my 2003 at a cost of $2,256.  One was getting so tight that is would intermittently make a screeching noise and you could not turn the prop by hand.  I later discovered that the only other Riviera 40 (2004) in my harbor had exactly the same problem.

I have a 2005 (40-228) in the Chesapeake Bay area, and have had no
problems in 2 seasons.   I had my props scanned and tuned this winter,
so will ask that the cutless bearings be checked before launch.
Thanks for the heads up.
