I have a 43' Irwin MK III that has a swim platform. The platform was damaged by the previous owner by a hard strike on the corner while it was deployed. I had my yard repair the platform when I purchased the boat, but noticed that the cavity in the transom that held the support arms for the platform were without any type of bearing support. It appears that the swim platform support arms have wallowed out the cavity in the transom. There doesn't seem to be a way to remove the platform other than cutting it out of the transom. Does anyone know the proper configuration for this installation
