I'm about to purchase a 1999 26' Sundancer, 5.7 engine, Bravo II. The vessel was just re-powered with a 2006 engine. It looks very clean. Anything I should know about the history of this model before I put any money down? Any problems concerning the Bravo II?  Thanks for any comments.

I have 2004 260 with 350 Mag Bravo 3. My 4th Sea Ray, wouldn't have anything else! First go to Searay.com and look at the archive section and download specs and possibly owners manual. Check it all out and then go and drive the boat under the conditions that you would normally run, i.e. number of passengers, amount of fuel, water, etc. I'm not familiar with the B2, had a B1, but the B3 is the best due to counter rotating props. Check all your vinyl, all systems, interior, all canvas(look for mildew),especially the head. Look at the boat out of the water. Check props and skeg  for dings, look at transom for small fractures(indicating heavy docking and potential big problems later). How many hours on genset if there is one, and check all fluids(life blood of an engine and outdrive). When was the last oil change(every 80 hours)? Can't think of anything else at the moment. Let me know how it goes.
