My 21' CC has only one problem so far. It's moored to a bouy in Puget Sound (Washington State) and is irresistable to sea-going river otters. They climb aboard over the low transom, sometimes whole families of them, and leave a stinky mess that's hard to clean up. Does anyone know of an effective way to repell these boarders? They are protected, so they cannot be harmed in the process. Thanks. Neal

Hey Neil: I suppose you've considered putting a canvas cover over the
whole boat; I think I would particularly if I'm tied up to a mooring.
Only objections (other than$$$) might be the annoying corrosion that
always gets on the snaps, but A canvas guy told me to put lip balm or
Chapstick on them and it does work.
How about that Mako's fish boxes; have any problem with slow draining?

Yes, Got fish, a tight cover would probably do it (not a loose one tho, they can and do wiggle under) but it would sure impede a quick run to the crab pot. But thanks. My Mako is pretty old so probably not a good comparasion for the drainage problem. Havn't really noticed that on mine. Neal
