found it, if anyone needs a owner manual you should register in the web site of chaparral boat user forum. they have them all free to download, any model and year.

I just purchased a 1993 Chaparral 180 SL.  It did not come with an owners manual.  What is the website address for the chaparral boat user forum?

Browse to the manufacturer web site, register and log-in. once there they have page which have all the manual.

well atleast that was the case a year ago.
