I have a 1998 Arima Sea Explorer 16' since new has repeatedly cracked the gelcoat port-side rail where it curves-up to the windshield support. Starboard-side has never had a problem! Anyone out there have had a similar problem? Factory states a simple repair at a quality shop is all that's needed! I've had it repaired (and reinforced) 5 different times by two quality shops, ...only to have it re-occur once more! My guess is that it is and has been poorly designed since new.
