While I must agree with your selections of water music, “The River” and “Sailing”, I felt the need to write. Kenny Chesney’s “Boats” hits it out of the park to the feelings one has owning, captaining, as well as life on the water.

|I thoroughly enjoyed the article on Cape May in the February issue. I was stationed at the Coast Guard base there for boot camp in the summer of 1957. It is a beautiful area and I would love to boat there sometime.
BoatUS Trailering is a great magazine for boaters. I moved from North East Alabama to Wilmington, NC last year and the article on checking out the boat trailer was excellent. I did what I could and had the rest done professionally where necessary. The 600 mile trip was smooth as silk!

|Just a note to say what a fine issue this is. As a trailerboater myself, I'm always on the lookout for good, practical information. (And as a frequent visitor to Cape May, I especially enjoyed your piece on that town.)
One mild suggestion: If you're approaching another boat nose-to-nose, a horn signal is most likely to elicit one of two reactions. A friendly skipper will just wave and smile; most will give you an interdigital gesture that translates to "Who you beepin' at, Jack?"
