Your dream boat is on display nearby. And all around are folks who share your passion for getting out on the water. BoatUS Member Anna Tunnicliffe Wins First Women's Sailing Gold Medal in 20 Years
QINGDAO, China - Laser Radial sailor Anna Tunnicliffe became the first woman in 20 years to sail to an Olympic gold medal. Tunnicliffe, of Plantation, FL, is a BoatUS Member.
According to her sailing coach, Luther Carpenter: “Anna is your dream athlete. She’s a hard worker, in amazing shape, very open to coaching, completely driven and she sees a path clearly to winning.”

|BoatUS Member is a ‘Star’ Olympic Sailor
Anyone following the Olympic sailing regatta now entering Week 2 in Qingdao, China, has probably heard of John Dane. At 58, he’s been making headlines as the oldest competitor among the thousands of athletes competing in the 29th Olympic Games. He is also a BoatUS Member, having joined the Association in 2003.
