The Dredge WILKO will be conducting dredging operations at Mason Inlet Crossing (34-14-59.481N, 077-46-56.297W) from 04 April until 20 April, 2014. The dredge and assisting vessels MISS LEANNE and PROUD MARY will monitor VHF-FM channels 13, 16 and 78. A floating rubber and submerged polyethylene pipeline associated with dredging operation will traverse southeasterly from the AIWW to upland Disposal Area DA-241. The Dredge WILKO will be conducting dredging operations in the AICW at the Shallotte Inlet Crossing (33.907229°-78.383899°) from 20 March until 13 April, 2014. Okeechobee Waterway, Ft. Denaud Bridge Manual Operation Schedule:
The Fort Denaud Swing Bridge (26.744880° -81.510466°), Ft Denaud, Hendry County, Florida has an equipment failure and is operating manually. Starting 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2014 through May 15, 2014, the bridge will open once an hour on the top of the hour from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily. Mariners are advised the S.R. 74 Bridge (34.216103° -77.812750°) across AICW mile 283.1, at Wrightsville Beach, NC current rehabilitation has been extended to March 15, 2014, and vessel openings, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., will be provided if at least two hours advance notice is given to the bridge tender at (910) 256-4519 or via marine radio on channel VHF-FM channel. Great Bridge Lock Closure:
The Great Bridge Lock (36.723681°-76.247636°) on the Albemarle and Chesapeake Canal will temporarily close to vessel traffic from noon Feb. 19 to 9 p.m. Feb. 20 to replace the set of lock gates. The Albemarle and Chesapeake Canal, Route 1, part of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, will also close to through vessel traffic while contractors change the lock gates. Las Olas Bridge Update, Schedule Change:
The East Las Olas Bridge (26.119285° -80.109001°) across the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, Fort Lauderdale, Broward County, Florida is being repaired. The bridge is on the same operating schedule; but there may be short delays when equipment and personnel need to removed from the bridge for an opening. This work is expected to continue until March 1, 2014.

Miami Boat Show Bridge Schedule:
The East Venetian Causeway Bridge (25.790980° -80.152275°) across Miami Beach Channel, Miami, Florida will be on a twice an hour schedule from February 10 through February 18, 2014 from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. This bridge will open on demand except that from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. the bridge will open on the top and bottom of every hour, to balance the needs of vehicle traffic and vessel movement to facilitate the Miami Boat Show.

Lockwoods Folly Inlet Crossing Shoaling, New USACE Survey:
An ACOE survey conducted 20 December, 2013 indicates shoaling to a depth of 2.0 feet MLW between Cape Fear River to Little River Buoy 46A (LLNR 40223) ((33-55-13.022N, 078-14-15.049W) and Cape Fear River to Little River Buoy 48A (LLNR 40240). Old Gilmerton Bridge Demolition:
Mariners are advised that the demolition/reconstruction of the Gilmerton Bridge (36.775082° -76.294999°) fender system will be ongoing from 6:00 p.m. until 5: a.m. daily until 03 August, 2014. Barges with cranes will be in the navigational channel. Vessels transiting the waterway and requiring the barges to move for safe transit must provide a two hour advance notice by calling the bridge tender at (757) 485-5488 on via VHF-FM channel 13.
