NORTH CAROLINA - ATLANTIC INTRACOASTAL WATERWAY - DISMAL SWAMP CANAL
1. MARINERS ARE ADVISED THAT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, THE GREAT DISMAL SWAMP CANAL BRIDGE, AT MILE 28.0, ATLANTIC INTRACOASTAL WATERWAY IN SOUTH MILLS NC WILL BE CLOSED TO VESSELS DUE TO THE FIRE AT THE GREAT DISMAL SWAMP WILDFIRE REFUGE. MARINERS SHOULD ADJUST THEIR TRANSITS ACCORDINGLY.
Note: The Virigina Cut Route (using the Great Bridge Lock) of the Atlantic ICW between Norfolk and the Albermarle Sound in North Carolina is open.
