My Star Clipper Blog - Day Three

By Todd Botsford - Published February 27, 2006 - Viewed 1713 times

Our dinner companions tonight are two couples from England. We talk about places we've been and the things we've seen.

I had volunteered to help in a shipboard fashion show later on in the evening and Terri mentions this. There is lots of good natured kidding about me having to wear a thong for the crowd. Dinner ends just in time for me to visit the Pursers Office and collect the clothes I am to model.  The show was fun, but I was a little nervous. I sometimes wonder why I do things like this. Thank goodness it doesn't happen very often. Terri is of course in a front seat taking blackmail pictures for later on. The crew entertains the audience while we change clothes in the library. The ship is still tossing from side to side when the show ends and will be for most of the night. I have started feeling a little queasy while cooped up in the warm library during the show and would feel slightly under the weather until I fell asleep. Occasionally the ship would roll so much I felt I would fall out of bed.  Terri is between me and the wall and feels quite secure.
