Toms Tips About Budget Boating
By Tom Neale - Published July 08, 2010 - Viewed 578 times
1. Take advantage of nautical flea markets. Whether they’re for charity, for strictly business, highly organized or just for fun, you may be surprised at what you can get for cheap.
2. Don’t forget your boat in down times.
3. Use your down times, like winter layup, to plan and do projects which will fix existing problems with your boat or improve the boat.
4. If you’re forced to keep the boat in storage for awhile, visit it regularly and invest any spare time you have in improving it. This will be an investment in your asset and in future fun.
