Star Clipper - Grenadine Islands - Day 5

The Pitons were beautiful and the landscape was the prettiest by far. To see something in person that you have seen in a book is incredible.
As we got closer a pirate ship greeted us firing cannon balls off the ship! This was an excursion day- Soufriere Tour. We started off to the Pitons and as we got closer to the volcanic activity the smell of sulfur was in the air. The tour guide was very knowledgeable on the history of the Pitons. We got back into the tour bus and started up the hill to the Gardens.
We walked through a beautiful park with local plants and flowers. The tour guide gave us great descriptions of the plants and vegetables that are grown locally. After the tour we continued up the hill to a restaurant for rum punch and the best scenic view of the port and the ship, you could see out for miles! It was breathtaking! We were sad to leave
