My Royal Clipper Experience Windward Islands- Day 6 December 18, 2008- Ile de Saintes

By Ginger Fletcher - Published December 18, 2008 - Viewed 2156 times

Ile de Saintes was a pleasant surprise.  It was a quaint little village with many shops.  I had been told this was the best place to go shopping for souvenirs.  The local people were very friendly and helpful.  While in town, we ran into Tatiana, the ship receptionist, and she gave us advice on what shops to go to.  She was absolutely right.  We spent a good portion of the morning walking around the town. Then we went back to the ship for lunch and then to the beach.  The beach was very small but the snorkeling was pretty good.

That night they had a passenger and crew talent show which was a lot of fun to watch.  One couple did Christmas song, to remind us Christmas was 7 days away.
