My Experience with BoatUS Insurance

I have had a Boat Insurance Policy with your company for many years.  When my Brother bought his Jet Skis, I did all the leg work to get him insured through your company as well.  Anytime in the past I have had to call your company for any reason, it has always been a very positive experience.

Late yesterday, we discovered that my boyfriend's boat insurance had lapsed.  He showed me a copy of his policy and the premium seemed excessive to me.  I went online at boatus.com and started to get a quote knowing I needed to get a Policy into effect today.  When the computer advised me that I would not get the quote until today, I called your offices.  Someone picked up the phone and immediately gave me the quote.  She was professional, courteous and knowledgeable in regards to the coverage.  I went ahead and started the Insurance today but when I received the binder via fax, the additional Insured was not included.  I called and David in underwriting explained to me that they could not add that to the binder and that he would try to get the actual policy typed and sent to me today.

I just received it!  This all happened within hours.  I am not going to bore you with why I needed this done today, it doesn’t matter.  What does matter is that your staff received a request from a customer and made it happen.  I would like to also share that I am a former Fire and Casualty Licensee in California, I worked for Farmers Insurance for a number of years and I feel that I am well qualified to tell you how exceptional the service I always receive from your staff is as I understand better than most customers what happens on the back end in your office.

A colleague sitting near me at my office was aware of what I was trying to get done and could not believe it just now when I told him I actually received the Policy.  I just handed him your contact information as he also is a boat owner.  I have been in sales for many years and one of my rules of thumb is sales is only as good as the staff behind the scenes actually getting the real work done.  If I ever find myself wanting to get back into outside sales, I would consider your company first and foremost.  With such a great staff, how could I fail ?
