Update on North Myrtle Beach Connector Bridge Construction, ICW Mile 348.3.
From MSIB 92-08, Sector Charleston:

The construction will require a Barge and Tender to obstruct the navigational channel. The construction project will start on December 2, 2008 near the location MM 367 and in approximate position, 33 42’ 28”N and 078 55’ 50”W. The construction will continue into January. On the following dates the waterways will be restricted due to the construction at time periods for up to 24 hours:

03 December 2008
10 December 2008
17 December 2008
07 January 2008
All mariners transiting in the area should proceed with caution. If there are any concerns, mariners should contact Coast Guard Sector Charleston’s 24 hour watch center on VHF-channel 16 or via phone 843-724-7616.
