Some pictures from Seattle. Thanks for a great Boat Show.

Nothing better then bringing in the new year by watersking or wakeboarding on New Year's Day in 45 degree water!

Here are a few pics of the 29th annual Bethel Island Frozen Bun Run at Boyd's Harbor. Notice Phil Delano with Vessel Assist on hand to offer any help if needed and also watching the show.

Cruising under the Golden Gate Bridge. Photo taken from the Marin Headlands.

These are photos from the new West Marine San Carlos store grand opening. The Vessel Assist boat belongs to Yachting Specialties Inc. covering both the Bay Area and the California Delta. This boat is named "Old River" and is the smaller of the two new Almar boats to their fleet.

Well, the rains moved in for a sprinkle and in Northern California it has been warm and calm. When that happens, the Santa Ana winds pick up down south.  Just watch the news. BoatU.S. thoughts and prayers are with them. I do not want to post any photos of the fires as you can find them elsewhere.

The day before the storms moved in, I was at Lake Berryessa. Notice the water level. Just to let BoatU.S. members know, Markley Cove is still open and does give a fuel discount to members.

A view from Pier 39 in San Francisco.

The boating scene is going strong in San Francisco as another large turnout of recreational boats came out to watch the Fleet Week festivities this past weekend. In the above pictures, the Blue Angels are practicing for their performance with the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz as their backdrop.  Pier 39, also pictured above, played host to a music festival during Fleet Week and now BoatU.S. Members can spend the night on their boat at Pier 39 Marina for a 25% discount as part of our Cooperating Marine program.
