ALEXANDRIA, Va., October 27, 2011 – In a move to reach out to Spanish speakers in the US, Boat Owners Association of The United States (BoatUS) now offers online membership information in Spanish. The move comes on top of also having 24-hour on-the-water and roadside assistance dispatch as well as boat insurance help available to Spanish speakers.

“We increasingly see the need to look for opportunities in every boating segment, and Spanish speakers are a growing market,” said BoatUS Vice President of Membership Heather Lougheed. “In some parts of the country, they represent a significant portion of the boating community.”

Included is basic information on membership levels and pricing as well as both on-the-water and on-the-road towing services. Spanish speakers may also contact the association and speak to a Spanish-speaking customer service representative by calling 800-395-2628 and pressing #2.
