 ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 14, 2011 – The nation’s largest organization for boat-owning anglers has given its website an extreme makeover, adding new blogs by prostaff and making it easier to use. is the website for BoatUS Angler – the fishing services division of Boat Owners Association of The United States (BoatUS). BoatUS Angler offers on-the-road and on-the-water towing services, bass and fishing boat insurance policies, boating safety “tools” such as the BoatUS Foundation Free Online Boating Safety Course, and more.

The newly-updated website includes new fishing blogs from television hosts, fishing guides and tournament anglers, including Mark Zona of Zona's Awesome Fishing Show and Kim Stricker of Hook n' Look.

Also offered is information on the BoatUS Angler tournament incentive program, Weigh-to-Win, which offers cash bonuses to highest placing BoatUS Angler members at most B.A.S.S, FLW, PAA and ACA tournaments across the country, a bait and tackle shop, fishing guide and tournament locator, a free insurance quote section and a library of do-it-yourself articles.

“Anglers are increasingly realizing that any boat insurance policy will no longer do,” said BoatUS Angler Brand Manager Steve Levi. “So, they are going to our website to find specialized and affordable fishing boat, tournament or fishing guide coverage.”
