SEATTLE, Wash., December 22, 2009 – It’s easy to go back to school with the Boat Show University to be held at the Seattle Boat Show January 29 to February 6, 2010. Sponsored by Boat Owners Association of The United States (BoatUS), “Boat Show U” offers a series of three-hour seminars by nautical experts designed to expand boating knowledge, safety and make cruising more enjoyable.
Seminar topics include “Alaska Cruising” presented by Linda Lewis, “Catching Trophy Halibut” by Terry Rudnick, “Do-It-Yourself Diesel Engine Maintenance and Troubleshooting” by Nigel Calder, and “Advanced Weather for Cruisers” by Lee Chesneau. Attendees may elect to take one seminar for $39, or choose any four for $149, which includes a five-day show admission pass.
The Seattle Boat Show, Indoors + Afloat, is the West Coast's largest boat show and features more than 1,000 recreational watercraft and the latest accessories presented indoors at the Qwest Field Event Center and on the water on South Lake Union.
