Eligibility

  • Participation in West Advantage Rewards is Free.
  • Participation in Boat Owners Association of The United States requires payment of membership dues at the time of enrollment and annually to renew membership. 
  • West Advantage Rewards and Boat Owners Association of the United States cards are accepted at any West Marine or BoatU.S. store, either catalog or online at westmarine.com or boatus.com . 
  • In either program, qualified merchandise purchase is required to earn points toward member reward certificates.
  • West Advantage Rewards members, which have had no purchase activity in the past 12-months will terminate and accrued points will be forfeited. Boat Owners Association of the United States members will retain their points regardless of purchase activity, provided Boat Owners Association of the United States membership dues are paid when due and there is no interruption in membership.
  • Boat Owners Association of the United States memberships, which are not renewed within 30 days past expiration, will automatically roll over to the FREE West Advantage Rewards program and rules applicable to that program will apply.
  • West Marine and BoatU.S. associates are not eligible to earn points or rewards in either program. Associates may, however, join The Boat Owners Association of the Untied States, subject to special terms and conditions.
  • Members earn 1 point for every $1 of eligible purchases. To earn points, members must present their card or provide their phone number at time of purchase.
  • Shipping, taxes, Port Supply transactions, New Boat Owner transactions, Outfitting transactions, towing and trailer services, boat financing, boating insurance, and other non-merchandise items and services are excluded from earning program points in either program. Coupons, reward certificates and gift certificate redemptions are also excluded.
  • West Advantage Rewards points in either program have no cash value.
  • West Advantage Rewards points in either program cannot be awarded for purchases made prior to enrollment.
  • Points can only be applied to the account belonging to the individual making the purchase. Identification may be required.
  • Points earned will be adjusted for all merchandise that is returned for refund.


Member Reward Certificates

  • Reward Certificates will be issued automatically once a Member has accumulated 250 Points (or spent $250 in qualified purchases).
  • Reward Certificates are issued in $5 increments for West Advantage Rewards members and $10 increments for Boat Owners Association of the United States members, and must be used toward future qualified equipment purchases.
  • Certificates will expire six months from the date of issue.
  • Reward Certificates have no cash value and therefore, if used toward a purchase less than the certificate amount, no change will be given.
  • West Advantage Rewards certificates may be redeemed in West Marine or BoatU.S. stores, either catalog or online at westmarine.com or boatus.com.

  • Boat Owners Association of the United States members will automatically be enrolled in West Advantage Rewards.   • Member benefit offers are valid in the United States only, unless otherwise specified, and are subject to change at any time.

Program Termination

  • Membership in Boat Owners Association of the United States is active for one year from the date of enrollment. In the event the program is terminated, remaining point balances will be forfeited at the time of termination. 
  • West Marine and BoatU.S. reserve the right to change the program rules, terms and conditions and limitations, or to cancel the program entirely at any time without prior notification.
  • Membership offer void where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

Privacy

  • West Advantage Rewards and Boat Owners Association of the Untied States member rosters will be used by West Marine Products, Inc., Boat America Corporation, and it's Program partners for marketing purposes and/or to send you information regarding products and services that may be of interest to you.
