What do you do at BoatUS?

I oversee the many aspects of Membership: Programs, Marketing, Records and Services to make sure members are using their Membership for all that it's worth through our valuable services and savings programs.

How many years have you been with BoatUS?

I have worked for BoatUS since July 2000. I always liked boating and my uncle who has been a member since 1975 said check out BoatUS, they fight for boaters rights and save boaters a lot of money.  I wanted to work for an organization that I believed in and it's been a great place to work ever since!

What is the most unusual phone call or assignment you've been given while at BoatUS?

I've been to boat shows all over the country representing BoatUS and have spoken with thousands of our Members. It is hard to pick one particular story but I definitely have gotten the opportunity to travel to a lot of beautiful cities and meet a lot of nice Members!

What's your favorite thing to do while boating?

Introducing my two small children to the water, anything water sports related (knee boarding and tubing are my favorite at Lake Anna, VA), sailing on our Laser, or simply anchoring out in Lake St. Claire in MI on my in-laws 30' Doral and going for a dip.

What is your favorite vacation spot?

Any beach. Grand Caymans with my husband (before we had kids) was my favorite. Now our annual family vacations with the extended family to Avon, NC and Merritt Island, FL are great too!
