Summertime is finally here... ]
Posted: BrianAzar @ June 10 2011 11:13
...tryin'a get that ol' engine back in gear...

This weather has me listening to Kenny Chesney's "Summertime" song, but I'm not too great at changing it to a boat-themed song. Even though it isn't summer yet, the weather in the NE is definitely making it seem like it is.

Have you guys (and girls) been out on the water yet?  Or still summerizing your boats? Holding out to make repairs/upgrades? Any plans for trips/excursions?

It's been a while since I've been on here, but I hope everyone is transitioning in to the season nicely, and that it is a safe and fun season for you and your families!

Changes Have Been Made! ]
Posted: BrianAzar @ November 09 2010 09:36
Hello everyone!

We’ve made a few changes to BoatGroups over the past few months, but today they are finally noticeable. Below is a list of
changes to BoatGroups:
1) Additional steps to block spammers, as well as a system to make sure spammers are less likely to return.
2)A whole new skin, which is designed to be easier on the eyes, and more similar to the rest of the BoatUS website.
3) A ladder system. Each post you make gets you closer to the next group. Groups are broken down in this order:

a. Seaman Recruit (Starting Group)
b. Seaman (20 posts)
c. Deckhand (100 posts)
d. Navigator (300 posts)
e. First Mate (500 posts)
f. Lieutenant (750 posts) [Edited to represent correct number of posts]
g. Commander (1000 posts)
h. Admiral (3000 posts)
i. Fleet Admiral (5000+ posts)

New to the forum? Welcome! There is a wealth on information within this website. You can find your boat manufacturer
using the top or left navigation bars. If you are the first within your manufacturer, don’t be afraid to make the first post. All
it takes is one person and more will come once the word gets out. So keep posting, keep it boating, and have fun out on
the water!
